My response time woud kinda suck. And Herb Orel took my blue light away...so thats out too. LOL Keep up the good work everyone!! I do miss you.

Thanks for having us today Reverend Brown! We love demonstrating our Ambulances and equipment to the students! Maybe a few will even want to become Sparta Ambulance Squad Cadets when they get a little older! To kick off Catholic Schools Week, all of our students in Pre-K through 4th Grade met with first responders from Sparta Police Department, Sparta Ambulance Squad, Sparta Fire Department, County of Morris EMS Task Force and Atlantic Health System. They also received a special helicopter flyover from Atlantic Health System.

Great job putting such a good face to Sparta Ambulance Service Inc. looks like everyone had a great time.

Used to love these community projects! Well Done everyone!

Did you know that Sussex County has a Public Safety Memorial set up at the Public Safety Training Center to honor Police, Fire, and EMS Personnel who have given their lives in service to their community? All are welcome to check out the Memorial located at 114 Morris Turnpike, Newton.

Volunteers maintain the memorial site and have set up a fund raiser to help with the everyday costs. If you are interested in purchasing a commemorative coin for $10 to benefit the Memorial, please call Jack Negri at (201)787-1486 or send an email to medicjack@yahoo.com

Over the past two years the Sparta Ambulance Squad has responded to over 2600 calls, expanded our building and had two ambulances re-mounted. We added a Rehab Trailer and Polaris Ranger off road vehicle as well.

Leading us through all this was our Captain of the last two years. Brad Erickson, on behalf of the squad, you have led with distinction and we would like to thank you for your service as our Captain!

The things we accomplished over the past two years would take most organizations years to get through.

Congrats captain Brad, we are so proud of you. Mr & Mrs "T".

Brad, congrats on a great two years. You were a far better Captain than I could have hoped to have been during my tenure. Enjoy "retirement" 😂
