Our joint rope rescue team practiced a pick-off rescue at SFD headquarters this morning. We practiced ascending and descending the rope as well as used different equipment and techniques to improve our overall rescue skills! It’s always great to train with our friends at the Sparta Township Fire Department! #wecareforsparta #spartavolunteers
Last week’s 4th of July festivities continued with Sparta EMS sending a crew in ambulance 4192 into Hoboken to standby during the Macy’s Fireworks. The crew responded to an MVA in the Lincoln Tunnel involving multiple patients as they left the Weehawkin staging area but were able to enjoy the fireworks from their assigned post at an aid station in Stephen’s Park!
