Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day.
We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the brave Firefighters, Police Officers, EMTs, Paramedics, and other first responders who answered the call, and the countless acts of courage, compassion, and sacrifice that followed.
Twenty-five years later, their stories remain part of who we are. Their sacrifice reminds us of the importance of service, unity, compassion, and caring for one another.
From all of us at the Sparta Ambulance Squad, we remember, we honor, and we will never forget.
